The jamesbondian lifestyle

It's been a while, since I've been active in here. Today, I am all in for a quick question. What comes to your mind when you think of James bond? Wait. Don't answer. Just imagine him. The way he moves, the mannerisms, the vocabulary, the body language. Now answer my question. What comes to your mind? Cuddly women. Costly cars. Champagne. Rolex. Tuxedo Martini Luxury Lifestyle. James bond is one of the perfect identity for a role model considering a lifestyle choice. But what exactly is his lifestyle? Driving 10 second cars? Sleeping with as much women as possible? Amongst the seriously distracting by-products of his lifestyle, it is very hard to determine the core of his lifestyle choices. But I find that he has two specific lifestyle philosophies which get him the jamesbondian life. Choice #1 He is sophisticated. The scene on casino royale, where he orders up a very specific method o...

In secure

Everybody Lies! If you’ve seen the popular Television series House MD, you’ll know what I am talking about. Now let me tell you something. Everybody is insecure! That might appear bad, only when you associate insecure as something bad. The word insecure itself is a simple one. It means “In” “secure”. To be “in” “secure” is to build a wall around us for the sake of our security. Insecure is good, only until some degree. Insecure helps us. Insecure protects us from trouble. The little squirrel is going to run away from you even if you try to feed it the most delicious food on earth. It is insecure. It is how it survives. Though it misses away from being romantically involved in your fascinating pet care (mew mew mew mew mew mew mew mew mew mew); it would get hunted easily if it wasn’t insecure. But we are not squirrels; though they are so cute. We have the ability to distinguish when we can choose to be insecure and when we need to let go. That primal ins...

Know thyself – Prove to thyself

If is often advised to shout “fire”, in case of trouble than to shout, “help”. Why? Cause People are narcissists. We are all selfish jerks to some degree. Fire would make more people come to help you than the word, “help”. People help themselves. Wait a minute, I forgot something. Let's rewind... Movie characters! I honestly say that I envy them. They have their own background music, special effects, songs which are carefully written to suit the moment they portray in the movies. No wonder they are called celebrities. These movie characters come in various sizes, shapes and sexual orientations, but I have always been curious of the silent ones; (you'll know if you've read my previous posts) Stallone in Rambo, Statham in Transporter, Craig in Casino Royale, Diesel in fast and furious. What makes them so sure of themselves? What gives them the confidence at such effortless ease? What makes what they are? I see them walking and t...

Xolo Q800 – All in one guide – Rooting, Applications, Underclocking, Updates and more!

Disclaimer: This guide is for XOLO Q800 with the MTK6589  chipsets. For users with MTK6589M , the results may vary. I took some of this information all over the INTERNET. Some I tested myself and found it good. Hence I thank everyone who made it possible. If you want any clarifications please let me know. As much as possible avoid installing apk outside playstore(s). UPDATE : Make Xolo Q800 camera work in other camera applications When using third party Camera Apps in the Stock ROM, the camera output is very dark and bad. This tweak "might" fix it. Go to the scene mode setting in the 3rd party camera app and set it to anything other than Auto. You'll find that the camera becomes as good as the built in stock Camera. Enjoy. Eg, In Picsart Photo Studio, open camera, select some scene mode other than auto and Voila! the camera works fine. UPDATE : Android XOLO Q800 (or any Jelly bean phone for that matter) continuously restarts after installing LBE Privac...

(Updated!) Xolo Q800 – A review with pros and cons

UPDATE: Whatever is written below applies for the Xolo Q800 phones with MTK6589 chipsets. The Q800s with  MTK6589M chipsets may or may not qualify for what is written down here. (I think that the phones which costed less than 12k have the MTK6589M chipsets. ) Android smartphones are everywhere these days. They run the latest operating system and they are all identical. You try out different brands and they all have the same android. At the time of this blog post, it is Jelly bean. So, what makes a smartphone different from another. They all have IPS screens, HD playback, ble... all sorts of common stuff. Difference? Xolo Q800 is a smartphone and here is where the difference is. 1. There are absolutely no bloatware in the device. The device is pure stock Jelly bean. There is one app called Xolo care which just sits silently in the corner helping you to check updates to the operating system and contact customer care. Too bad I don't ...

The monster under the bed – How to cope up with negative thinking

“ We suffer more in imagination than in reality.” - Seneca Thoughts keep going in our head all the time. The problem occurs when we impose our identity with them. Identity is what you are, or rather what you think you are. When you impose a thought on your identity and if that thought is negative, your identity suffers, and when the identity suffers, you suffer. Wait a minute, let me rewind. You are not your job. You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. - Tyler Durden – Fight CLub Ever seen kids being afraid of the dark, they imagine these boogie monsters everywhere and get seriously scared about things. But when things grow, they learn that there are no monsters under the bed. So the think of new things to be afraid of. Afraid of going out. Afraid of failing. Afraid of making a move. We all imagine our identities as a seemingly id...

The bioscope theory of life – It's movie time

“ Between the fear that something would happen and the hope that still it wouldn't, there is much more space than one thinks. On that narrow, hard, bare and dark space a lot of us spend their lives.” - Ivo Andric As a kid, whenever I saw a car crashing scenes in movies, I used to wonder about what I shall do if I had all those broken cars given to me. I would repair them, make new ones out of them and drive them all along the way happily. I was wondering what the main reason for unhappiness is. Eventually, like all the people who lived before me said, happiness is a pretty neutral and natural state. It is like the pure water which just exists. A person normally is happy, until you add something to the water, which either sweetens it or stinks it. We see our lives through these tiny bioscopes. Ever seen these binocular like things through which they used to show movies at old times? Life to us is like these small movies which keep running all around and...
